quà đoàn trao tặng trường tiểu học Vũ Chấn

On February 1st, Le Mont, together with the volunteer delegation from the People’s Army Newspaper and Thai Hung Trading Joint Stock Company, visited and presented gifts to Vu Chan Primary School in the mountainous district of Vo Nhai, Thai Nguyen province.

In the festive atmosphere leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the volunteer delegation collaborated with the school to organize the program “Spring Comes to Vu Chan,” aimed at boosting the morale of teachers and students throughout the school. The total gifts presented to Vu Chan Primary School included 5 water purifiers, 1 set of sound amplifying speakers, and 2 refrigerators, with a total value of nearly VND 60 million, including 2 refrigerators sponsored by Casper Vietnam Company.

Vu Chan Primary School is located in the extremely difficult area of Vo Nhai district, Thai Nguyen province. In the academic year 2023-2024, the school has 22 classes with 278 students studying at the main school point and 5 satellite points. Additionally, the school currently supports 144 boarding students at 2 points. The provision of boarding services aims to facilitate lunchtime for students who live too far from home, preventing afternoon absenteeism due to the distance. Over 40% of the families of students in the school are classified as poor, leading to challenging living conditions.

Ms. Tran Thi Sinh, the school’s principal, expressed her deep emotions when receiving gifts from the sponsors’ representatives. In the festive atmosphere of Tet and the arrival of Spring, the teachers and students of Vu Chan Primary School were thrilled to receive meaningful and practical gifts that directly contribute to teaching activities and ensure the well-being of teachers and students.

With a spirit of sharing and understanding the challenges in the teaching and learning process in remote areas, the volunteer delegation hopes that the joy will spread to the teachers and students of the highland area of Vu Chan as the spring season approaches.
